Choosing a school for your child is both exciting and significant. My role is to make your admissions journey clear, supportive and welcoming from the very first conversation.

I enjoy meeting families on tours where you can feel the energy of our classrooms, see children engaged in purposeful learning and experience the warmth of our community. These tours aren’t just about spaces and facilities — they’re about how your child *might* feel here, and how confident you can feel about that choice.

We also have a Parent Champions Programme that connects new families with experienced Victory Heights parents — so you can hear real stories and perspectives as you make your decision.

My door is always open for questions, clarity and guidance — because the best start for your child begins with partnership and understanding.

What Happens at the Assessment?

We understand that assessments can feel daunting for families and children alike. At Victory Heights, our assessments are designed to be a positive, child-centred experience — not a test to pass or fail, but an opportunity for us to understand your child as an individual learner.

For Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 applicants, assessments are play-based and informal, taking place in a comfortable classroom environment. Our teachers observe how children interact, communicate, and engage with activities, looking for curiosity and confidence rather than specific academic benchmarks.

For Key Stage 2 applicants, assessments include age-appropriate tasks in English and Mathematics, alongside a conversation with one of our senior teachers. These are designed to identify each child’s strengths and any areas where additional support may be beneficial from day one.

Pooja Barral, our Head of Admissions, oversees every step of the process to ensure families experience “a smooth, welcoming, and positive experience from first enquiry to first day.” Whether your child is joining us from across Dubai or from the other side of the world, we are committed to making the transition seamless.

From the moment we enquired, the admissions team made us feel like part of the family. The process was seamless and the care shown to our daughter during her assessment was remarkable.
